Per Plain Donut 57 Calories
50g Plain Flour
50g Quinoa Flour (or use an extra 50g Plain Flour)
30g Grenade Killa Vanilla
35g Truvia or equivalent
1 tsp Baking powder
60g Greek Yogurt 0%
20g Melted Light Spread (I used Flora Light)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat Oven to 170 C (Fan)
Mix the Plain, flour, quinoa flour, protein powder, baking powder and sweetener into a large bowl.
In a separate bowl whisk the egg, buttermilk, yogurt and vanilla extract until smooth, add in the melted light spread and whisk again.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix with a spoon until combined. The batter will be pretty thick .
Spray a donut tray with non stick , you can either pipe the batter into the donut rings or use a small teaspoon to scoop and spread the batter into the rings.
Bake in the oven for approx 8-10 mins
Let the donuts rest for a few minutes in the donut tray before you remove them to a wire rack to cool.
Cinnamon , mix a tsp of cinnamon with 1 tablespoon of truvia/sweetener . While the donut is still warm, squirt a few sprays of 1 cal spray onto the donut and dip into the cinnamon sugar .
Chocolate , melt a few squares of dark chocolate in the microwave and one side of the donut in, sprinkle some hundreds and thousands on top.
