Makes 6 Donuts
50g Chocolate Charge Protein Powder
15g Cocoa Powder
14g Coconut Flour
1 tsp baking powder
70g Egg Whites
50g Apple Puree (baby Food)
50ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
80g fat Free Quark
20g Cookie Chaos Protein Powder or Vanilla
10g Truvia (if you want a sweeter frosting)
4 x Crushed Oreo Thins
Pre heat the oven to 170 C
In a large bowl mix the protein powder, cocoa powder coconut flour, Truvia and baking powder until well blended. Now add the wet ingredients, egg whites, apple puree , milk.
Stir the batter until it is smooth with no lumps, divide the batter between 6 Donut holes and bake in the oven for approx 12 minutes or until a skewer is inserted and comes out clean .
Leave the donuts in the tray for 5 minutes then take out and cool on a wire rack.
While the donuts are cooling down, mix the frosting ingredients (taste for preferred sweetness )
Spread the frosting over the cooled donuts and sprinkle some crushed oreos on top !
Devour straight away !
